According to Eurostat informations index of empty trucks coming back to base after delivered articles was increased from 25% in 2007 to 27% in 2009.

Currently actions are taking for reduce this occurrence because unfortunately is impossible to completely eliminate it. To reach the point are using internet transport systems which are created to provide maximize efficiency, increasing incomes and decreasing fuel consumption.

Aneta Mackiewicz from transport-logistic company admit that through Teleroute stock numbers of empty rides were reducing in 43% and incomes from this program are 60% of all company incomes.
