• Okęcie investments – completion of terminal
  „Polish Airports” State Enterprise  is about to spend over 1,2 billion zł on investments in Okęcie. Also a great business center “Chopin Airport City” is going to be built.
  
  There are construction works on the completion of the south and central pier, connecting new terminal 2 with terminal 1. Investment, realized by the German company Hochtief, should end in the second half of 2011.
  
  “We are planning a full integration of both terminals on the year 2014. Due to that we will  increase their capacity to 12,5 million of passengers yearly. Whole airport will have the same elevation and one big pier with the length of around 1 kilometer” – said Michal Marzec, General Director of “Polish Airports” State Enterprise and director of Chopin Airport.
